WRMA
specializes in Research, Evaluation,
National Data Collection and Reporting Systems,
Information Systems, and Strategic
Planning. Our philosophy in these five disciplines follows:
| Research
|
|
|
WRMA
has a history, reputation, and active engagement in human
services research. Our professional staff are routinely engaged
and publish in applied research areas that address systems
of service delivery. WRMA is especially recognized for its
research in the areas of child protective services and child
welfare.

| Evaluation |
|
WRMA
helps decision makers assess programs and gauge the impact
services have in their communities by assessing the quality
of existing data and working to build the capacity of the
agencies being evaluated to develop and use data. Our approach
is to engage in extensive interaction with the funder, the
participating agencies, and the communities in which the projects
operate in order to gain the deepest qualitative and quantitative
understanding of the needs and achievements of the enterprises
being studied.

| National
Data Collection and Reporting Systems |
|
|
For
more than a decade, WRMA has been involved in the design,
development, implementation and operation of national data
collection and reporting systems. Dissemination methods for
national data have included publication of annual reports
by the Government Printing Office, posting on the Internet,
and via regional and national conferences where our staff
have given presentations.

| Information
Systems |
|
|
In
recent years, many of our information systems projects--at
both the Federal and the State levels--have required the posting
of final reports and other project materials on the Internet
and coordination of that work with government technical representatives.
WRMA also has designed and developed Web sites for a number
of our clients.

| Strategic
Planning
|
|
|
WRMA
has developed strategic, tactical, long-range, and multiyear
plans for public and private nonprofit organizations. These
plans have identified needs, desired outcomes, system capacity,
and service delivery system strategies. These plans also have
connected the contracting agency or organization's mission
and vision to specific service strategies within operating
programs. Each plan has been free standing and visionary and
has provided a disciplined method of thinking through the
critical issues concerning the contracting organization's
future.
