The Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) has contracted with WRMA to provide all of its 6,000 employees with Web access to service information for more than 5,000 community agencies within Los Angeles County.
Functionality will include identifying services in proximity to a client’s location and transportation routing for selected sites. In addition, administrative functions will be customizable for individual use by DCFS management. This 3-year effort will provide access to the well-known INFO LINE-Los Angeles database of services organized by the Taxonomy of Human Services that lists more than 20,000 services within the County.
Specifically customized administrative functions for DCFS will include the ability to add notes to selected agencies' information, email and print referral forms, certify selected services sites, and provide different access rights as determined by department management. |
