WRMA Senior Vice President Dr. Ying-Ying T. Yuan was awarded the Department of Health and Human Services Assistant Secretary's Administration for Children & Families Outstanding Contractor Honor Award for 2004.

This prestigious award recognizes special contributions made by contractors who have partnered with ACF to help the agency in the successful accomplishment of its strategic goals, key priorities and overall mission. Dr. Yuan was presented with this award in recognition of sustained leadership and vision in the creation and implementation of the National Child Abuse and Neglect Data System (NCANDS). For more than 17 years, Dr. Yuan and WRMA have led the team responsible for implementing the NCANDS, the national data reporting system on child maltreatment, including providing extensive technical assistance and data analysis to all States, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.
