As subcontractor to ORC Macro, WRMA is deeply involved in a five-year cross-site evaluation of the National Child Traumatic Stress Initiative (NCTSI).

This initiative, a joint effort of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), focuses on developing models for children exposed to traumatic events. The NCTSI project is beginning a comprehensive evaluation to determine the effectiveness of the current network. The project team’s research, evaluation, and review will determine whether the current network can serve as a national resource for improving children’s access to services.

WRMA’s work on this evaluation project will contribute to developing ways to improve children’s access to high quality mental health services.
