The National Interim Grantee provides on-call interim management of any of Head Start grantees nationwide in the event of termination or relinquishment of the grantee's contract. This service is intended to maintain Head Start operations and guarantee continuity of programs for Head Start children. The study is designed to identify policies and practices that are working as well as identify those that might improve the services provided.
